What I call my long neck baritone. Scale length at 22 inches.

Made with figured Australian Blackwood and a Western Red Cedar soundboard. Curly Maple rosette and Gidgee bindings, fret board and head plate veneers. New Guinea Rosewood neck. Schertler tuners with a K&K Aloha Twin pickup installed. Satin gloss lacquer finish.

Looks fabulous Allen (as usual)!
Is that an oval soundhole? If so, how did you do that?
Thanks,
GregL.

Yes, it's an eliptical sound hole. Tiles cut on my laser. The rest is done on the CNC.

I really like the cedar and blackwood combo. The long neck design has jumping back and forth between the neck and the bridge. Am I crazy or do the proportions remind you of a bass? Anyway love it, beautiful uke :cl :cl

Certainly does give a different look to a uke, and yes, after watching that video that Nick posted about building the Hofner Bass I can see the similarity.
