Old Hofner resurrection

Post by Andos » Mon Mar 25, 2019 8:18 pm

It's taken a long time. I started this without a clue.

Here's how it arrived

The neck join

Not as neat as I was hoping but I was scared of losing to much height and not having enough room to fit the pickup

and the neck clamping jig

The bog job on the screw hole - not my finest repair!

All in all I'm pleased with it. Definitely room for improvement but most importantly -

SHE WILL PLAY AGAIN!

Many thanks to all those who have so willingly offered their help and advice. Without you it would have been kindling by now.

Hi Andos
I can't see the pictures (just file names) - but I am very interested.
