I've had the cabinet for this one finished for a while, I've been waiting for the amp to be built, I picked it up today and assembled it.
It's art deco style made from walnut and maple ( with some birds eye maple as well. )

Very Nice. How did you do your face plate?
I ask because I am making a 18Wat TMB clone and have done something similar to the front.

Thanks Rod, I made some raised tiles 3 different thicknesses to get a 3d effect. Wayne

I saw (and admired) that. But how did you go about the burl(?) face plate and get the numbering labels done and the holes cut? I had to go to a mate who had a cnc machine to do mine and am interested in any alternate processes that people may use.

Also, any chance of a sound sample? I would love to hear what it sounds like.

Cheers,
Rod

Hi Rod, the guy that built the amp did the holes and lettering. I made the face plate gave it to him and after he drilled and printed it he gave it back to me to lacquer. He has a process of printing the lettering on the stuff used to cover school books that has adhesive on one side then he irons it on, it has to be printed in mirror image and has to be a laser printer ink jets don't work.
