I get my building inspiration from older Romanillos and Rubio guitars of the 1970s, as that is the sound I prefer, and have had access to a few. Light weight, Spanish heel, light fan bracing. Rosewood back and sides.
For this one I used a replica Fleta rosette, and vintage NOS brand new 1960s Japanese tuners. Pau Ferro head plate.
I am also experimenting with different timbers, for looks and as a learning device with tuning the guitar, but you cant beat spruce/indian.
Similar sound to the romanillos/my no. 1 comparison video on my YouTube site:
Nice looking instrument Krzysztof. Well done!
