Finished this one a few weeks ago. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Pictures aren't that great. ( again )
Top is lutz
Back, sides, neck, tail piece and head stock veneers are all maple.

G'day Wayne,
Great looking guitar and the red sunburst finish fits the guitars style.
The bridge itself is a work of art.
I'm keen to hear the guitar once you have a demo.
Cheers
Alan

Thanks Al. Might be a while before I have a demo. Maybe the new owner will do one when he gets it.

Looks great Wayne. It really captures the Macca style. How did you do the burst, is it sprayed?

Hi Mark, I rubbed a base coat over the guitar then sprayed more coats adding a little more colour to the mix as I went. I was trying for a violin type colour and I think it’s pretty close. Thanks Wayne

Very well done Wayne :cl How did you go bending the soundboard? Thinking about making that rosette shape hurts my head. I think you nailed the violin, soft burst colour.

Thanks Trent. I actually used my heat blanket to bend the top. I made a bending board laid the top on it then laid the blanket at right angles to it then just clamped it. Yeah the rosette was a bit of a challenge. Wayne
