My first left handed guitar, it’s easy to get confused but overall the build went well.
Figured black wood b/s from Tim
AAAA Sitka top
QLD maple neck
Ebony fretboard
Eirw bridge
Marri bindings
K&K twin spot p/up

Great stuff Wayne. It's funny how you can see something's a bit odd with the fret markers on the 'wrong' side then it dawns.

That blackwood is really something and the whole thing works well aesthetically.

Thanks Dave. Funny you should mention the fret markers, the first f/b I made i put them on the wrong side, luckily I hadn’t cut the end so I can use it on the next one. The black wood is another beautiful set from Tim at Australian tonewood his wood is top quality and he’s really reasonable with his prices. Wayne

Hi Wayne,

Classy build as we come to expect.
It is so good to hear the new owner is so pleased with his new guitar.
Very satisfying as a builder.
Thank you for sharing the pictures

Cheers

Alan

Hi, I can understand why the customer was happy, that's a nice-looking instrument from any angle.

I remember suggesting to my left-handed son, that if he is going to learn to play guitar, he should start right-handed from the very beginning. He did, so when it came time for me to build him a guitar it was a lot easier.

Thanks Taffy. It's easy to get confused making a left hander, which I did a couple of times.
