You may have missed the point of the "Anything Goes" forum Vin, it pays to thicken your skin a little, not take things too serious and keep your sense of humour up front when you visit this area.vinman wrote:Typical libtard dribble. I thought this was a guitar building forum not the DailyKos??
Vin
If that is not for you and it is only guitar building content that you want, then you should consider sticking to the "Instrument Builders Forum". Both areas are clearly marked so there should be no confusion.
Welcome to the ANZLF
Cheers

G'day Vinman
I don't believe that libtards and dailykos exist in Australia. I've certainly never heard of them.
But we sure do have some nice platypus and lamingtons.
One of the great things about living in a democratic country is choice.
We can choose to take the piss out of our politicians.
We can choose to take the piss out of ourselves. (which us Australians are very good at)
We can choose to disagree.
We can choose to participate.
Welcome to the ANZLF.

My apologies for the lack of a formal introduction. My name is Vince. I am a chiropractor and I live just south of Cleveland, Ohio. I have a lovely wife of 23 years and three boys. I love everything wood, especially guitars.
I found out about this place via my friend Hesh a while back and finally got around to checking this place out. Already I've noticed a couple of familiar names from the ubeaut.com.au forum.
My sincere apologies to those of you offended by my 'tongue in cheek' remarks. They were not directed at my good friend Dennis Leahy, but instead a comment directed at ONN. Although I lean slightly right of center politically, I always seem to find myself voting for the 'lesser of two evils' instead of someone I'm really excited about.
Thanks for having me.

Hi Vince my friend!!!
Great to see you here on the ANZLF!
I think that you will find everyone to be very friendly and supportive of your efforts to build guitars. These guys are also extremely funny at times and don't mince words - something that I really appreciate.
You will also get to meet our fearless leader Bob Connor in Ann Arbor September 27th at the gathering.
See you then and again welcome bro!

Hi Vince,
I just caught up with this. You are a friend, and as free as I am made to feel here at the ANZLF that I can post something poking fun at the current crop of political leadership of the US, you are free to poke fun at the ones I missed.
Men of power (and let's face it, it's still mostly men) often have wandering wieners and they all have their hands deep in someone else's pocket. Some eat the flesh of unborn babies and delight in cranking the world suffering knob to "11." So, they all deserve a good roasting at times. This November, I hope we swap out the current crop of morons currently infesting Washington, DC., and I hope the new dickheads will be the ones I voted for. If they are not the dickheads you voted for, feel free to skewer them and rotate them over the coals. It won't fix their flaws, but it feels good to vent.
