Catching up...

Post by hilo_kawika » Wed Dec 31, 2008 4:38 pm

It's rainy in Hilo, Hawaii where I live. Normally we get ~120" (~300 cm) of rain a year. But this year as of mid-December we were 30" behind.

Then around Christmas day it began to rain...

A little more detail might be useful:

So that's about 2 feet of rain in 3-4 days. Since it's still raining as I speak

I'm pretty sure we'll make our quota...

Sounds like a typical day during the wet up here David.

It's good when it comes, 'cause it breaks the heat, but it gets a bit old after a few months of it. Don't worry, Albany is going to be a lot drier than that.
