I liked that.

I have just restarted classical lessons after a 30 year layoff and I hope I am playing as well as those two after 11 years. I also hope I will still be alive then.

Markus - haben sie ihren Finger gehammert??

Richard, I haven't hammerd my finger, I only kept the text in my post so short because it was very late at night (4 am) and I didn't want to run the risk to do too many typos.

So, here again, and somewhat more comprehensible and more complete info: the girl is 11 and the boy is 13 years old... It seems they are from southern Switzerland (the Italian speaking part), at least they take classes at the conservatory there. The concert from which the YT video is was held near where I live (northern Switzerland).

Good to hear you restarted to play classical guitar. :D

Cheers,
Markus

Well, Markus, if you havent hammered your finger then why is it red???

Re the lessons, I havent had so much fun with a guitar in years, and now spend much more time practising than I do attempting to build.

Mind you its the middle of winter down here and its cold in the shed, so thats another reason

Cheers

Oh, yes, the red finger!
It's red because the knot which happened to form by trying to play some classical guitar piece is way too tight and things didn't get better since I began to participate in the ANZLF instead of practicing ;)

Thank you Markus for sharing that great post of the two young guitarists.
I am taking lessons to try and learn to play the guitar. After making four
guitars I thought it is time to try and do something with them. At 67 I
think I might have left it a bit too late. At my age it is easier to make them
than play them.
