You got it Sebastiaan my friend.

By the way about 10 years ago I got to meet Carlos and have dinner with him in a private residence. He is an extraordinary man who never forgot the value of social contracts. I also got to sit around and play guitars with him which was just over the top for me as you can imagine.

The album Supernatural was just out and #1 on the charts at the time too.

Oh to be just old again and not ancient..............

Ooooh....

My first electric (1981 I guess) was a cheap Japanese Les Paul copy, I since owned numerous others, both Gibson and copies. No original '59's though, but I lusted for one for years; who hasn't? One of the best ones I had was a Tokai copy of a '59, but I traded it for a '59 tele which became my main guitar for a long time. The price of a '58-'60 Les Paul Standard was way out of my range back then, now of course a mint specimen costs more than a house so out of my range it will remain.

I was never been a big fan of Gary Moore (despite his excellent taste in guitars), Lynott on the other hand is BIG in my book. One of my favourite live albums of all time (favourite albums, period) is Thin Lizzy's "Live and Dangerous", and the best guitarist that great band ever had was Brian Robertson IMNSHO, not Gary Moore. It is not a true live album I guess as much of the guitar and vocal work was overdubbed and doctored, but man! talk about lovely guitar tone! That is how Les Pauls through Marshall stacks should sound! I know most of the guitar parts on that album BY HEART, we had great fun playing those harmony guitars parts in the band I was in back then. My favourite part was Robertson's solo on "Still in Love With You"; simply a great tune all in itself.

Hesh, you played with Santana??!!! Not fair...
