website entry in signature

Post by ozziebluesman » Sat Dec 07, 2013 9:35 pm

Hi there,

I have been trying to setup my signature area on my post section entry to my website.

If someone can explain the procedure that would be great .

Thanks

Alan

In your user control panel there is a section where you can edit your signature.

You need to wrap the website address with the URL tags just like any of the tags you would add to a post in the forum.

your web site address

OK....from memory I think I had this same problem. Years ago now.

I believe it was something that Bob had to tick in some part of the forums preferences for me.

It seems to work without putting the URL's at each end .

I just put my one back on then off then on again.

Just the complete web address and when I checked my signature on a post it was blue.

Alan,

try adding the "http" part at the beginning

http://
www
.
hamleyfineguitars
.
com

If I write it out correctly, the forum software will "interpret it" correctly, and not show the http part, but try adding it all.

Maybe I can type it out, if I leave spaces: ht tp:// www . hamleyfineguitars . com

Do that, but with no spaces.

Or you can simply forward $500 to Bob and he'll "flick the switch" on the forum software
