Hi Jim,
for us in Townsville it was a non-event. Decided towards the end to dip down the coast and made landfall around Bowen. One of my guys at work has family there and appears not to have got bashed around too much.
All in all - a bit of a practice run for the next one :D

Cheers :gui

G'day Jim,

Just arrived home from Victoria and the wife said it was a non-event. Even the rain gauge suffered with only about a 100 mm of rain. A bit of wind and that's about all!

Cheers

Good to hear. 100mm ain't bad though, nice bit of cool summer weather by the sound of it. We got around 650mm for January and 130mm so far for February, constant cloud, top notch weather for us.
