Guess a spectrogram

Post by charangohabsburg » Wed Apr 16, 2014 12:40 am

You plate-and-instrument tappers might have fun to give it go guessing what I was tapping when recording the spectrogram pictured here:
guess.jpg
Maybe this game is a bit similar to the guess-this-wood questions. Although, Trevor Gore with his specific experience might have a real chance to get close, and any other forum member might be spot on with just a wild guess!
And no, it has nothing to do with stock exchange or a beer bottle!

If all attempts fail (or if none is made) I may post the frequencies on the horizontal axis.

No mistaking that Markus.

Its quite clearly the spectrographic output of a petite blonde called Freida wearing a bikini while sitting cross legged in a purple bubble chair that has a slow but audible leak while slurping No13 linguini with lashings of red pesto sauce, from a splade. 8)

Cheers

I'd love to see the look on the person's face who Googles: "petite blonde called Frieda" and ends up on this page.

No, the peaks are not chopped carrots, they really represent...

Sorry Martin, I don't own a Swedish car, and it is not a finished charango, hence zero points for you.

However, Nick you were quite close with the alpine horn which actually also is a hollowed trunk!

BTW: the spectrogram in the beginning resembles in some ways to the one of a bar (Frieda's bar? ), which is not really a surprise.

Despite Freida's obvious lack of symmetry upon her chest, her dance card remained brimming with hopeful village lads with their blood fully charged with hormones, and their eyes firmly glued to her voluptuous hips.

Nice work Markus 8)

The driver looks more like Kim (not our Kim!). Maybe it's him, test-driving his pimped car before getting back home from school.

That guy made a better job of that woodstove than he did with his hair cut....looks like he must have been pulled head first through his drum sander.

Is that stove in there to keep the driver warm or to heat the boiler under the bonnet? The world's first steam powered Volvo.
