Another great axeman gone

RIP B B King aged 89. I loved this guy's playing. He proved that you only needed to play one note with all the feeling you had in you to make blues dig into your heart.
The thrill has gone :(

Nice to hear in church but not in a Mexican prison.

Yep spot on Nick!
There are so many lesson he taught me about playing guitar.
Less is more!
Respect for your band members.
As a player adopting his famous butterfly vibrato technique added such a new dimension to my playing.
Truly a Legend in the music world.
I am sad :(
RIP BB King

I never knew much about BB until I read his autobiography earlier this year. After learning about his upbringing on the slave plantations, all the way forward to the endless touring and the unrelenting passion that he has injected into his chosen career, I have the upmost respect for the man and his music.

Not only is he a guitar legend, he is also one of the greatest bluesmen and musicians in general to share a part of his soul with us.

R.I.P. B.B. king. Generations of listeners will be admiring your contribution to the world of music for years to come. Your blues will be remembered.
