NZ holiday

Post by kiwinoz62 » Fri Jan 15, 2016 4:37 am

Hi all,
Presently on holiday in "the land of the long white cloud" and stormy clouds with rain.
One day sunny the next rain, oh well, doesn't matter.

On our trip to lovely Paihia, bumped into a bloke called Christian Druery, had some of his items on display at a market fair day.
Apart from building instruments Christian also makes other wooden items.
What a pleasant bloke and a pleasure to have met you, Christian.

Well the weather looks fine today so off to see more of the sights.

Happy New Year everyone. (it's not too late to say that, is it?)
cheers wayne . . .

Yes, they copped a fair bit of the wet stuff up that way over the break, mind you, down here in Christchurch and we're into our third day of rain  (so much for feckin' summer!) . Always said our weather is schizophrenic, a couple of weeks back we had 36 C one day and 17 the next! Love it up in Northland, if I could get work up there, my wife and I would be up there like a shot.
Glad you bumped into Christian and yeah, he's a top bloke.
"Jesus Loves You."
Nice to hear in church but not in a Mexican prison.
