RIP Glenn Frey

Post by seeaxe » Tue Jan 19, 2016 3:23 pm

Crikey, seems like 2016 is going to be the year of the lost musician.

My generation are all ffffffffading away.

Who's going to be next I wonder?

We're both around the same age obviously. Part of getting old is dealing with the passing of your favourite musos who are usually a few years older than yourself.

Mind you..look at the bright side. The fact that we haven't done as much drugs and booze as our musical heroes means we'll live quite a few years longer than them. Mind you the fact I'm a Geologist and I work in the oil patch means my life span will probably be about equal to that of the average muso who did lots of bad stuff through the 70's and 80's.

They're dropping like flies Martin that's for sure, a bad start to the year.

Now I would have said that Joe Walsh would have been the first to go out of that lot. Rip Glenn, thanks for the music.
"Jesus Loves You."
Nice to hear in church but not in a Mexican prison.
