Help required for inlay

Post by Motorazr » Sun Oct 27, 2019 9:45 pm

Hi, first time post and i apologise if it is not in the right section or allowed.
I hale from Adelaide and although not a luthier i admire the skill required to make any instrument.
I am currently learning the mandolin and have 3 at last count. I have for some time now been trying to locate someone who is able to do inlay, without much success.
It was suggested to me that perhaps a luthier may be able to assist.
I have a king brown high rise arm rest i was wanting inlaid and if possible was looking for someone who could do the inlay for me, i am not adverse to sending it interstate to be done.
Any suggestions would be gracefully accepted, thanks.
