Waterfall Spectrogram Program

Post by John Greenlaw » Mon Sep 17, 2018 7:51 am

Hello everyone!

Does anyone know a good waterfall specrogram program for Iphone? I'm hoping to create images like the ones in the book. I just made this really great sounding parlour guitar with Engelmann top that has some really nice overtones and I want to see if I can repeat that in the future. I'm hoping a waterfall spectrogram will help me document this guitar.

I can't help you with phone apps, John, but the plots I did were made using Spectrum Lab on a PC. I think later versions of Visual Analyser also do waterfall plots, but not as flash looking as those in Spectrum Lab.

Any one else?
