Carbon Fibre Basics

Got a new way of doing something? Or maybe an old method that needs some clarification.

Carbon Fibre Basics

Post by Tod Gilding » Sun Apr 29, 2012 10:11 am

Hi All, with the increased use of carbon fibre in my builds with braces and neck reinforcement I have tried to learn more about the types of Carbon Fibre and how to optimise it’s use correctly.
With this in mind I have corresponded with Mark King who has a web site” The Project Junkie “ http://theprojectjunkie.com/

Mark has written an informative article on Carbon fibre for his site that can be read here http://theprojectjunkie.com/resources-g ... asics.html

Mark and his brother also built a complete Carbon Fibre Guitar which may or may not be of interest to members but if so, can be viewed here http://www.facebook.com/pages/Jimmy-Wis ... 7223976938

He has also kindly offered to answer member’s questions on carbon fiber (not Luthiery) and can be contacted by email Mark@TheProjectJunkie.com
