My daughetrs 10th Birthday present

Post by ozwood » Sat Sep 17, 2016 10:52 am

My Daughter has been begging for a guitar and has a shown a consistent interest in playing so I made her this for her birthday.

Myrtle Parlour , with a Mahogany neck, Engleman Top ,Burl rosette and head plate, Myrtle everything else.

Bracing is Sparce lattice composite.

That about covers the words.

Cheers,

Paul

Looks great Paul, she's a lucky girl. How does it sound with the lattice? I've just started a lattice braced OM. Any photos of the bracing?

Thanks Wayne,

I don't have a photo's of the internals this one specifically , but if you PM me you email Address I'll send you some pics from previous builds.

It's taken a few goes to get the sound exactly were I want it, it's easy to make them to bright , so I'll include my learning for what they are worth, Bob gave me a few pointers in regards to double x or sparse lattice early on that set me on the right path .

Cheers,

Paul.
