Ceramic bandsaw guides
Will all the talk about bandsaws, I got onto the Fielder web site and noticed they are now offering ceramic guides as an option. I am thinking about upgrading my Hammer and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with ceramic guides. Coming from Fielder they are not likely to be cheap, but should improve the smoothness and accuracy of the cut. They work similar to the cool blocks on my INCA. Made of low friction material so you can set them up just touching the blade. Can't do that with the roller guides on it now.

I don't know how the Felder ones will work, but I'd be giving it a red hot go. I'd like to replace the ones on my Jet as the standard bearing give me the shits.

Re: Ceramic bandsaw guides
The Laguna I have has ceramic guides, runs as smooth as,,,, can’t compare to any other ceramic guides as this is my first experience with them but no fuss no noise is all one could ask for.
