My last builds and first Ukuleles… hence the 3 tenors
1) Uke-Koa
Tenor 12 frets built under the guidance of Brad Donaldson in Kaua’i (HI) .. Lot of tricks and effective methods I have learned so thank you Brad & Carol, I have really enjoyed my time in your company.
Front, Back & sides – Hawaiian Koa
Ultralight soundboard bracing (Brad secret )
Neck ; Honduran mahogany
Bridge & fretboard : Ebony
Sideport and no bindings (like this !)
Satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish
2) Uke-Paramu
Tenor 14 frets, built for my sister Giovanna
Soundboard: Englemann Spruce
Back & Sides: Italian Plum
Neck : Mahogany
Bridge: Ebony
Fretboard: Maple
Platina shellac finish
3) Uke-Pea
Tenor 14 frets, built for my niece Daniela
Soundboard: Italian Alpine Spruce
Back & Sides: Italian Pear
Bridge & fretboard : Ebony
Platina shellac finish
The rosettes of nr 2 & 3 are engraved with a small cnc and filled with rosewood dust/CA glue method
