So my drum sander decided to give up the ghost and the gearbox driving the conveyer belt is Completely in the boondocks.
My somewhat "DIY" sacrilegious fix is not cutting it...
Anyone know where I can find a replacement motor? Was thinking of contacting Carbatec, the drum sander they sell looks very similar.

Anyway any thoughts are appreciated :D
Laurence.

G'day Laurence,
I have the same model as yours with the same issues and have just bought a conveyor belt motor, a PC board and replaced a broken front roller all available at Carbatec. I had to wait a little time but also sorted in a couple of weeks. Great people to deal with.
Cheers

Hi Laurence,
There's and old discussion on here somewhere and one of the replies in it mentioned they used a BBQ rotisserie.
They had to mount it on the alternate side so lost the double width - but that didn't concern them.

Cheers

Hey guys forgot to update but thought it would be helpful to let you all know that a car windscreen wiper motor works a charm :D
